Bose VideoWave houses a total of 16-speakers in its rear:
- 6 speakers for low frequencies – A cluster of six compact woofers provide impressive low frequency audio through the use of Bose Waveguide technology. The speakers are arranged back-to-back to cancel out vibrations
- 8 speakers for mid frequencies – Array of 7 speakers placed at the top, and one at the bottom for the centre channel
- 2 tweeters for high frequencies – Two tweeters placed in a PhaseGuide array
With the aid of the PhaseGuide technology, Bose is able to implement the phantom left, right, and “surround”, thus achieving a 7.1 system.
